Targeting high axis count automation systems, Unidrive M750 provides all of the benefits of a modular system with a common DC bus, with standalone drive flexibility.<\/p>\n<p>It is coming soon for users in Germany and Italy, ahead of a worldwide launch later in 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The new series is focused on high overload, pulse duty applications but also provides continuous servo control, plus induction motor control, and is initially available with two functionality levels.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Unidrive M753<\/strong> is designed as an optimised amplifier for high performance centralised control with EtherCAT integrated on-board and simple rotary switches for fast network address assignment.<\/p>\n<p>Alternatively, the flexible <strong>Unidrive M751<\/strong> Base option allows design engineers to add up to two option modules from the existing Unidrive M range such as PROFINET, Ethernet\/IP or an IEC61131 high performance motion controller for decentralised machine control.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Minimum size<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For both single and multi-axis configurations, the Unidrive M750 series offers industry-leading compactness \u2013 the M753 EtherCAT variant is just 40mm wide \u2013 that is 5 axes across the width of this A4 piece of paper with 10mm spare, or 7 axes if you turn it to landscape.<\/p>\n<p>The drive is also designed to fit within shallow 200mm cabinets. Unidrive M750 is the most compact 400V servo drive available in the world.<\/p>\n<p>Its patented Ultraflow\u2122 system allows machine builders to further reduce cabinet size by up to 50% through expelling heat from the drive directly outside the cabinet. This approach offers the further benefit of enabling drives to be stacked without the need for a large air channel between them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maximum performance <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>High dynamic applications will benefit immensely from Unidrive M750\u2019s 300% peak performance pulse-duty overload capabilities, along with its 62 \u00b5s current loop and 16 kHz switching frequency.<\/p>\n<p>Its flexible speed and position feedback interface supports a wide range of feedback technologies, from robust resolvers to the latest single cable digital encoder technologies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Quick and easy installation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Unidrive M750 boasts a wealth of features and accessories designed to make installation and commissioning as easy as possible.<\/p>\n<p>Features include easy-access pluggable connectors and a dedicated multi-axis paralleling kit for rapid installation; integrated braking resistor and electronic motor name plate for faster setup; and quick commissioning using the Unidrive M Connect PC tool, or an optional SD card.<\/p>\n<p>Machine Control Studio provides a flexible and intuitive IEC61131 environment for programming automation and motion control features.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Flexibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Unidrive M750 servo series flexibly adapts to your architecture of choice, be it centralised motion control, distributed intelligence, or any combination of the two.
